How to grow the peace tree well? How to grow the peace tree well and precautions

When caring for the peace tree, water it properly, keep it moist when it is dry, and water it thoroughly when the soil is dry. When the air is dry, spray water to keep the humidity. Fertilize the peace tree reasonably, adhere to the principle of thin fertilizer and frequent application during the growth period, and apply thin fertilizer appropriately to promote vigorous growth and luxuriant branches and leaves.

Is the peace tree easy to grow?

The peace tree is relatively easy to maintain . It has a well-developed root system, strong germination ability, and rapid growth. It is also relatively resistant to pruning and prefers a warm and humid growing environment.

The requirements for potting soil are that it is fertile and loose, breathable and water-permeable, rich in organic matter, and acidic. It has the characteristics of being relatively light-loving but shade-tolerant, warmth-loving but not cold-tolerant, and moisture-loving but not waterlogged.

How to grow peace trees to make them more vigorous

1. Pot soil

The potting soil should be well-drained and breathable, preferably humus soil , because the peace tree likes slightly acidic soil. Soil compaction and poor drainage will cause the roots of the plant to rot. It is recommended to change the flowerpot of a small peace tree once a year, and a large one can be changed every 2-3 years .

2. Lighting

The light requirement of the peace lily is different at each growth stage. The 3-5 year old peace lily is suitable for growing in a shaded environment ; the 6-10 year old peace lily needs more sunlight . In summer, do not expose it to the sun. Provide proper shade so that the plant receives about 50% diffuse light. Excessive sun exposure will cause the leaves of the plant to turn yellow.

3. Temperature and moisture

The temperature suitable for the growth of peace trees is 20-30℃ . Frost damage is likely to occur below zero degrees . It is best to place the potted peace trees in a warm room in winter to ensure that the peace trees can safely spend the winter.

The peace tree has a high demand for water and can only grow vigorously when the humidity is above 80%. In the dry season, you should spray the air around the plant more to create a relatively humid external environment for the plant. Be careful not to accumulate water in the pot soil, otherwise the plant is prone to root rot.

4. Fertilization

The peace tree likes fertilizer. In spring, summer and autumn, apply a small amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer once a month . The ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 2:1:1. In winter, when the temperature is low, stop fertilizing.

Precautions for caring for peace pine trees

As a light-loving plant, the leaves of the peace tree will emit a metallic luster in a sunny environment, but it is also afraid of being exposed to the sun. Pay attention to timely shading in summer. Note that in spring and autumn, which are the growing seasons of the peace tree, keep the pot soil moderately moist, spray water on the leaves frequently, ensure sufficient air humidity, and reduce the amount of watering by half in winter.
