1) The cultivation soil should be fertile

When planting Osmanthus fragrans in pots, in order to make the plant grow, bloom and smell better, it is best to use sandy loam that is loose, breathable, fertile, well-drained, and has good fertilizer and water retention properties.

Generally, you should choose peat soil rich in organic matter, mix it with some leaf mold, and mix it in a ratio of 2:2:1 to make a culture soil. Then, plant the Osmanthus fragrans in a flower pot with a diameter about 5 inches larger than the canopy of the tree.

2) Sufficient light for prosperity
