Cultivation methods and precautions of weeping jasmine

Weeping jasmine is very easy to grow. It has a relatively strong nature and grows very fast. As long as it is well maintained, when it blooms, the flowers will be as fairy-like as butterflies. The flowers are particularly fragrant and have a relatively high ornamental value.

How to cultivate weeping jasmine

1. Soil

When cultivating weeping jasmine, you should use soil made of garden soil, peat soil, and pine needle soil, and mix quicklime into it to make the soil slightly alkaline so that the weeping jasmine can grow better.

2. Temperature

Weeping jasmine prefers to grow in a warm environment, and the cultivation temperature should be controlled above 20 degrees. In addition, it prefers soft diffuse light. Only enough diffuse light can be beneficial to its growth, and the plant must be provided with more than 5 hours of light every day.

3. Water and fertilizer

Weeping Jasmine likes moisture. It needs to be watered every 5 days in spring and autumn, twice a week in summer, and every 15 days in winter. Weeping Jasmine also likes fertilizer. It can be fertilized once every half a month during the growing season, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied 2-3 times a month during the flowering period.

Precautions for the maintenance of weeping jasmine

When caring for weeping jasmine, you should pay attention to the fact that it is prone to rust in the spring and autumn every year, which can cause the branches and leaves to dry up and fall off. At this time, you should spray it with carbendazim every 10 days, and then use a sterilized pruning knife to thin out the dense branches on the weeping jasmine to maintain air circulation in the environment.
