Can a peony survive if its leaves wilt?

1. Can I still live?

Peonies are relatively difficult to care for, so once the leaves wilt, it is generally difficult for them to come back to life, especially for plants grown in greenhouses. Once the leaves wilt, the chances of them surviving become even smaller.

2. Reasons for leaf wilt

1. Root damage: If too much water is given to the plant during maintenance, or the concentration of fertilizer applied is too high, the root system will be damaged and the roots will be unable to absorb water from the soil. The growth of the plant cannot be guaranteed, and the leaves will wilt and become lifeless. In daily maintenance, you need to pay extra attention to the application of water and fertilizer. Too much or too little is not suitable for its growth. Apply it when you observe that the plant needs it.

2. Improper lighting: If the light in the plant's growth environment is too strong, sunburn will occur on the leaves, and over time, the leaves will wilt. Therefore, when breeding it, it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. In summer, it needs to be shaded in time.

3. Pests and diseases: Plants suffering from pests and diseases are also one of the reasons why leaves wilt. Ventilate more often, pay attention to air circulation, and take timely prevention measures.
