How to maintain Fran flower for a long time

Frangipani Growing Conditions

The suitable growth temperature for Fran flower is 20-25 degrees during the day, and the night temperature needs to be maintained at around 16 degrees. To make it bloom, the environmental temperature needs to be above 15 degrees. It has strong adaptability to soil and is extremely resistant to barrenness, but it is best planted in well-drained sandy soil. Potted plants can be mixed with garden soil, yellow sand, rice husk ash, and a little superphosphate powder.

How to grow Fran flowers

The Fran flower grows better in an environment with plenty of sunlight and good air circulation. It should be cultivated in loose, fertile, well-drained, humus-rich sandy loam. The Fran flower is not cold-resistant and avoids heat. Its growth will stagnate when the temperature is below 7°C. It needs full light in winter and cannot withstand strong sunlight in summer. It needs shade so that it can grow well.

Fron flower watering

The watering method of Fran flower is different in different periods. During the seedling stage, water it once every 5 days or so. Do not water it too much. During the flowering period, drip irrigation can be used. Do not water it until the soil in the pot is completely dry. When it is growing vigorously, watering must be sufficient, and it can be combined with fertilization at the same time.

Fertilizing Fran

Generally, when the frangipani is about to bloom in late autumn, potassium fertilizer can be applied once every 15 days, or foliar fertilizer can be sprayed. After flowering, fertilization should be reduced to once a month. Do not fertilize in summer when the temperature is high.

Franhua Pest Control

If the frang flowers are infected with diseases and insects, you can use methyl thiophanate wettable powder to spray for treatment. If thrips appear, you can use imidacloprid or dichlorvos to spray them. The common disease is powdery mildew, and you need to trim the diseased leaves and spray methyl thiophanate for treatment.

How to grow Fran flowers at home

It is necessary to maintain sufficient light during the growth period of the frangipani and provide it with a growing environment of 20℃ ~ 25℃. Water it more in summer, apply fertilizer once a week in spring and autumn, and once every half a month in summer and winter. During the growth process, diseased branches and leaves should be pruned in time to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests.

Precautions for caring for Fran flowers

If the frangipani is grown hydroponically, you should pay attention to cleaning the vase every time you change the water to ensure that the water in the bottle is clean. In addition, when watering, you can drop one or two drops of disinfectant into the water to kill bacteria.
