Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic fragrant lily

Hydroponic scented lily is a relatively easy-to-grow flower plant. Usually, if the hydroponic scented lily is well maintained, it can take root and survive for a long time. Even if it does not grow roots, as long as the healthy branches are placed in water, it can maintain normal growth.

How to grow hydroponic lily

1. Change water regularly

The frequency of changing the water for hydroponic fragrant lilies needs to be selected according to different indoor temperatures. Normally, in a growth environment above 20 degrees Celsius, we need to change the water every 2-3 days, and when it is around 15 degrees Celsius, we can change it every 3-5 days.

2. Appropriate lighting

Hydroponic flowers also need light. Hydroponic lilies need about 6 hours of light a day. While ensuring sufficient light, avoid direct strong light. Sufficient light time can speed up flowering, and too short light time will delay flowering.

3. Adequate nutrients

Because the water does not contain nutrients, you should add an appropriate amount of nutrient solution to the water on a regular basis. When changing the water, you can add a certain amount of suitable nutrient solution in time, which will be more conducive to the growth of hydroponic lilies.

Precautions for the maintenance of hydroponic fragrant lilies

1. Reasonable pruning

When growing hydroponic fragrant lilies, it is also necessary to regularly trim the branches and leaves. Generally speaking, pruning is needed every 2-3 days. Cutting off the excess branches and leaves can help the lilies better absorb nutrients, absorb water, promote the growth of flowers, and also extend the flowering period of the lilies.

2. Reasonable soil matching

Hydroponic fragrant lilies also need soil. They do not need to be maintained entirely with water. Instead, you can use a mixture of leaf mold, sandy soil, and garden soil, and add a small amount of bone meal as base fertilizer to meet their growth needs.
