How to grow golden leaf sedum

How to grow golden leaf sedum

1. Soil

It has strong adaptability and can grow well if the soil is mixed with garden soil and river sand. There is no need to waste energy preparing nutrient soil. Use a slightly smaller flowerpot when planting, so that it will look very beautiful when it grows up.

2. Temperature

It has a certain ability to withstand high temperatures, so it is easy to maintain in summer and does not require much attention. However, it has poor cold resistance and will stop growing when the temperature drops below 10 degrees, so it is best to move it indoors as soon as possible and control the temperature.

3. Watering

During the breeding period, water should be added according to the growth situation. If it is the peak growth season, water should be poured frequently to provide a moist growth environment, especially in summer, and water should be poured thoroughly. Reduce the amount of water after the temperature drops. Water should be controlled even more in winter, and it is better if the soil in the pot is drier.

4. Fertilization

If you want to maintain it more beautifully, you need to add appropriate fertilizer, so that it will have lush branches and leaves and the flowers will be more beautiful. Apply decomposed manure once a month during the growing season to supplement nutrients. But it should be stopped during high temperatures in summer and in winter to avoid fertilizer damage.

5. Lighting

It likes light very much, so during maintenance, it should be exposed to as much sunlight as possible, even in summer. There is no need to block the strong light, so that it can grow better and the branches and leaves can be more compact.
