1. Maintenance methods

1. Watering: During the vigorous growth period of lotus bamboo, the substrate should be kept slightly moist and water should be added in time, but it should not be too moist, and water should not be accumulated, otherwise the roots are likely to rot. If the temperature of the breeding climate is high, water should be sprayed frequently, and water should be controlled in autumn and winter.

2. Light: It has strong adaptability, allowing it to grow in semi-sunlight as well as in full sunlight. Be careful not to be exposed to the scorching sun in summer and should be properly shaded.

3. Temperature: The temperature of the breeding environment should be controlled within an appropriate range. If conditions permit, it is best to adjust the temperature to between 20-28℃. It has a certain degree of cold resistance. As long as the temperature is kept above 5℃, there is usually no need to worry about the plant being frozen in winter.

2. Prevention and control of pests and diseases

1. During the maintenance period, if it is not allowed to see the sun and is watered too much, stem rot will occur. The rotten parts need to be cut off in time and replanted for maintenance.
