1. Soil

The dragon bone tree is native to relatively barren areas and does not have high requirements for soil. If you grow it at home, it will be fine as long as the soil has good drainage. Of course, it would be best if you can find sandy soil rich in humus, which will help its growth.

2. Watering

It does not require much water. When growing it normally, just pay attention to watering it, but it does not need to be watered frequently. In spring and autumn, you only need to water it once every three days. In summer, you can water it more often. However, when the temperature exceeds 30℃, it will enter a dormant state. It is best not to water it at this time.

3. Temperature

There is not much to pay attention to when growing dragon bone trees in spring and autumn, but in summer, you should be aware that it may enter a dormant state in a high temperature environment. In winter, especially in the north, it cannot be kept outdoors as it can easily freeze to death. It must be kept in an environment above 10°C.

4. Fertilization

Fertilizer is also very important when it is growing. In order to ensure its normal growth, it is best to apply nitrogen fertilizer once a month during its vigorous growth period. However, be careful not to apply too much fertilizer each time to avoid fertilizer damage and root rot.
