How to promote the flowering of Anthurium

How to promote the flowering of Anthurium

1. Increase the temperature

The suitable temperature for it to bloom is between 15 and 25 degrees. Too high or too low a temperature will cause the flower buds to fail to form and affect flowering. Therefore, if you want it to bloom normally or early, you must control the temperature, especially in winter. During the cultivation period, the temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees and should be controlled above 15 degrees, which can promote the formation of flower buds.

2. Reduce watering

During the maintenance period, the number of watering should be controlled. If watering is too frequent, it will affect the growth of the root system and cause damage to it. The frequency of watering should be changed according to the specific environment of the plant. It is best to wait until the soil becomes dry before replenishing water in time. In addition, let the plants bask in the sun before watering so that water can be better absorbed.

3. Adequate lighting

It likes light but is afraid of scattered light, so during maintenance, it is necessary to avoid strong light and sunburn. It should be placed in a place with diffuse light indoors and ensure sufficient light exposure time, more than 8 hours a day, so that flower buds can form better.

4. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

If you want it to bloom as soon as possible, you can spray fertilizer on the leaves once a day, using potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, once in the morning and once in the evening, which can promote faster bud formation and flowering. In addition, you can add nutrient solution to the water every time you water it, so that the nutrients are more sufficient and conducive to flowering.
