Cultivation methods and precautions of Camellia Impatiens

Cultivation methods and precautions of Camellia Impatiens

1. Lighting

It likes places with better sunlight and can get more sun. Be careful not to be exposed to strong sunlight to avoid sunburn, and be sure to shade it at noon in summer. Do not place it in a dark environment for a long time, otherwise it will easily fail to grow normally.

2. Temperature

Usually a temperature of 15-25 degrees is more suitable. If the temperature is too high, it will be easily damaged and cannot grow normally. In severe cases, it will cause it to stop growing. Therefore, when the temperature is high in summer, you can place it in a cool environment and place it in an environment with good air circulation. It is not cold-resistant, especially in winter, so you should pay attention to keeping it warm and not let it get frozen to avoid frostbite.

3. Watering

It likes to grow in a relatively humid environment, and the potting soil should be kept moderately moist and not too dry, otherwise it will affect its normal growth. However, you must pay attention to water control to prevent water accumulation from causing root rot and affecting its normal growth. It is advisable to water it with an appropriate amount. You can spray some water on its leaves to increase the humidity. Maintaining appropriate humidity is conducive to its better growth.

4. Fertilization

Generally, you can apply fertilizer and water to it every 10 days. Especially in the early stage of its growth, you can apply nitrogen-containing fertilizers appropriately, but when it is about to bloom, you should reduce the amount of nitrogen-containing fertilizers, which will be beneficial to its growth.

5. Reproduction

The cutting method is the most common method. It is simple to operate and has a high survival rate. It can be carried out throughout the year and is easy to take root and survive.

6. Notes

Common diseases and pests include powdery mildew, mosaic disease and damping-off disease, which will affect its growth to varying degrees.
