How to grow featherleaf lavender

How to grow featherleaf lavender

1. Lighting

Featherleaf lavender prefers a sunny environment and can receive sunlight all day long, but it needs to be shaded in summer to avoid sunburn from direct sunlight. In other seasons, it can be exposed to more sunlight, which is more conducive to its growth.

2. Watering

It doesn't need a lot of water, just give it the right amount. Pay attention to water control in winter and keep the soil in the pot relatively dry, not too wet. Also, be careful not to allow water to accumulate to prevent the plants from growing normally. Do not spray water on the plant to avoid damaging it.

3. Temperature

It can withstand high temperatures as well as low temperatures. Relatively speaking, it can survive normally at normal temperatures. One thing you need to note is that when the temperature in summer is too high and reaches over 35 degrees, it needs to be cooled, otherwise the plant will not be able to grow normally. In addition, it can survive normally at temperatures above -20 degrees Celsius.

4. Fertilization

When repotting, base fertilizer should be applied, and diluted flower fertilizer should be applied as well. Remember not to use too high a concentration. You can also apply flower fertilizer containing phosphorus to help it grow and bloom better.

5. Pruning

During the breeding period, trim off excess old flowers and branches and leaves in time to avoid nutrient consumption. Be careful not to cut off the woody parts.
