How to grow cilantro

How to grow cilantro

1. Time

The planting time of coriander is relatively wide. Except for winter, it can be planted in spring, summer and autumn. If you want to grow coriander of better quality, it is best to do it in mid-August, and it can be harvested in October.

2. Soil Selection

When planting, it is best to choose soil that is relatively fertile and loose, because its root system is relatively short and shallow, and such soil is conducive to its better absorption of nutrients. Do not use soil that is too sticky and non-breathable, as this will be very detrimental to its later growth.

3. Seed selection

Before planting, you need to go to the market to buy some seeds, and make sure the seeds are within the shelf life. If the seeds have deteriorated, it will be difficult for them to germinate. Its seeds are round and have a shell on the outside that needs to be peeled off first to reveal the seeds.

4. Processing

If you want it to germinate faster, you need to take out the seeds and soak them in water. It is best to use warm water, and then soak the seeds for about a day. Try to break it in half, so that the seedlings will grow faster.

5. Planting

After processing the seeds, sow them into the soil. The distance between the seeds should be even, and then cover them with a thin layer of fine soil. It will sprout about a week after planting, so don't water it too much at this time.
