1. Planting

1. Seed collection: When the fruit is ripe, take out the seeds, usually when the seeds turn into charcoal color. Put the fresh fruit and appropriate amount of salt in a basin, separate the flesh and core manually, then put it in clean water, soak for 7-8 hours and then tap gently to remove the grains.

2. Sand storage: Before planting, it needs to be placed in a cool environment for river sand stratification. The ratio of seeds to sand is 1:3, one layer is river sand and the other is seeds, and the accumulation is about 4-5 layers. It should not be too dry during sand storage. The moisture should be just enough to be held by hand without water dripping out.

3. Planting: Wait until February or March of the following spring, then place the seeds in warm water for 5-6 hours to help them germinate. After that, just sow the seeds into the soil. It is recommended to use the broadcasting method. Finally, press the seeds into the soil and cover them with soil.

2. Management

1. Water: If the local rainfall is small, you need to water it more. If the rainfall is heavy, you need to pay attention to drainage to avoid water accumulation and root rot.

2. Pruning: During its growth period, you should try to keep the plant shape uniform and prune some weak branches in time. This will not only help it grow, but also better promote fruit growth.
