How to grow lilies

How to grow lilies

1. Use soil

The soil used for growing lilies should be suitable for its growth. It is recommended that you use a looser and more breathable soil, preferably one with a certain degree of fertility. Such soil is not only conducive to the growth of the plant's roots, but also conducive to its breathing. When preparing the soil, you can mix garden soil, leaf mold and fine sand in a ratio of 2:2:1.

2. Lighting

It likes sunlight and needs sufficient sunlight during its growth period, especially during the bud formation period. Lack of sunlight will affect its flowering. However, shade is necessary during the hot summer months.

3. Temperature

The temperature in the breeding room should be between 15-25℃. Too high or too low temperature is not conducive to its growth. In summer, the maximum temperature should not exceed 30℃, and should be cooled by spraying water or other means. The temperature in winter should be kept at around 10℃, and you need to keep warm when it is too cold.

4. Water

It has a certain degree of drought resistance, but is also afraid of waterlogging, so it is necessary to replenish water in time to keep the soil moist at all times. In spring and autumn, you can water it once every 5 days or so. In hot weather, you can water it more frequently, but do not let water accumulate in the soil.
