1. How to grow lucky bamboo

Soil: Lucky bamboo prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil, which has a relatively high nutrient content. You can make culture soil by mixing garden soil or leaf mold in a 1:1 ratio.

Water: In spring and autumn, just keep the soil basically moist. In summer, you can water it a little more and increase the humidity of its growing environment by spraying water around it. As for winter, the plant's demand for water will decrease, so the amount of watering should be reduced accordingly.

Lighting: Lucky bamboo does not have high requirements for lighting conditions. It cannot be exposed to direct sunlight and only needs to be maintained in a bright space with scattered light. In spring and autumn when the sun is milder, you can move it out in the morning or evening to receive sunlight.

Temperature: Lucky bamboo is suitable for maintenance in a relatively warm environment, and the temperature should be kept between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius. In winter, special attention should be paid to keeping it warm to prevent frostbite. The minimum temperature should be above three degrees Celsius.

2. How to grow lucky bamboo in water

Vase: It is advisable to choose a light-transmitting vase, which is convenient for observing the growth of the plant and also for viewing.

Temperature: Lucky bamboo is usually grown in water indoors, so the indoor temperature should be kept between 16 and 26 degrees Celsius. When the weather is very cold in winter, you should take anti-freeze measures indoors to prevent the water in the vase from freezing and frostbiting the roots.

Light: Just like growing lucky bamboo in soil, place it in a place with scattered light and good ventilation.

Water usage: There are certain requirements on the water quality when growing lucky bamboo in water. Generally, purified water or tap water is used. However, the cost of pure water farming will be higher, and tap water farming needs to be prepared at least one day in advance. Because tap water contains some disinfectant gases that can be dissolved in water, it is not conducive to the growth of plants. After leaving it for a day, these gases will evaporate.

Flower fertilizer: You can choose fertilizer that is soluble in water and apply fertilizer once a month. In addition, you can also put a few staples in the vase to provide the plant with a certain amount of iron and promote its growth.
