1. Planting method1. Sowing time: Mugwort sowing is generally carried out in early spring, usually in March or April. The climate at this time is relatively warm, which is conducive to seed germination and seedling growth. If the temperature is too high, it will often limit its growth, and high temperature and high humidity can easily breed pathogens, causing the seedlings to become sick. 2. Select the land and level it: For growing mugwort, generally use neutral soil with a deep soil layer and rich in organic matter. Loose and fertile sandy loam is the best choice. After selecting the land, deep plowing is required, with a depth of more than 30 cm. This will loosen the soil, bury the grass seeds deeply, and remove some weeds. 3. Apply sufficient base fertilizer: Appropriate fertilizer is needed when preparing the land. Generally, well-rotted farmyard manure is used, about 30-45 tons per hectare. If it is not available, organic fertilizer can be applied, which only requires 750 kilograms per hectare. Fertilizers must ensure that the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content is above 20%, and also contain a large amount of amino acids and organic matter, and do not contain heavy metals and other harmful substances. 4. Sowing: Sow the mugwort seeds directly in the soil at a distance of 40-50 cm. After sowing, cover with a layer of fine soil with a thickness of 0.5 cm. After sowing, water appropriately to keep the soil moist. 5. Subsequent maintenance: After the spring, weeding work needs to be done. When the seedlings grow to 30 cm in height, appropriate top dressing is needed. On rainy days, you can spread special seedling-promoting fertilizer, using 60-90 kg per hectare, and on sunny days, spray liquid fertilizer. In relatively humid climates, top dressing is usually carried out together with loosening the soil. In addition, attention should be paid to irrigation and drainage should be done well during the rainy season. 2. Pictures |
