Potted grape planting methods, planting techniques and management

Potted grape planting methods, planting techniques and management

1. Planting method

1. Choose a pot: When planting in a pot, choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage and air permeability. The diameter should be 35-45 cm and the depth should be 25-35 cm. The best material is unglazed clay pot.

2. Potting soil: The requirements for soil are also very high. It must be loose, breathable, moisturizing and fertile. It can be mixed with leaf mold, garden soil and sandy soil, and then mixed with an appropriate amount of decomposed fertilizer, such as sheep manure, chicken manure, horse manure, etc. This can meet its needs and is conducive to later growth.

3. Planting: After preparing the potting soil, choose seedlings with well-developed root systems, no pests and diseases, and full buds. Soak them for 24 hours before planting to allow them to absorb enough water. Then plant in a flowerpot. When burying the plants, spread out the roots, fill the soil carefully, and compact the soil to prevent it from tilting.

2. Management methods

After the potted plants are planted, they need to be watered thoroughly and sufficiently so that the soil and roots can absorb enough water. Water should not be lacking during the later management. Water frequently during the growing season and do not lose water during the dormant period. When the seeds sprout, you should start fertilizing them, once every 15 days, to provide them with enough nutrients. Its soil tends to become compacted, so it needs to be loosened frequently. In addition, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of diseases and pests, especially during periods of high temperature and heavy rainfall.
