How to make the leaves of green radish turn green

How to make the leaves of green radish turn green

1. Suitable lighting

The green radish can grow normally in an environment without light, but if you want its leaves to be greener, it needs light and moisture. Except for summer, it can be exposed to diffuse light in spring, autumn and winter, so that it can carry out photosynthesis better, and the leaves will naturally become greener and grow more vigorously.

2. Wipe with beer

During the maintenance period, you should frequently wipe its leaves with beer. The specific method is to dilute it with clean water first, then dip a rag in it and wipe the leaves. This will not only wipe off the dust on the leaves, but also make the leaves more oily and green. In addition, wiping with clean water also works well.

3. Regular Fertilization

Although the green ivy has a certain ability to tolerate poor soil, it still needs nutrients if it wants to grow better and have greener leaves. Fertilization should be done frequently during the peak growing season. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate and urea fertilizers can be used. They can be diluted and poured on the roots or sprayed on the leaves, both of which will have better effects. If you apply granular fertilizer, you should water it appropriately to dilute it so that the plant can absorb it faster and avoid fertilizer damage.

4. Suitable environment

If you want its leaves to be more lush and green, you must provide a suitable environment. Pay attention to more ventilation during the high temperature period in summer, and spray water frequently to cool down. Move the plant indoors in winter and control the temperature, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow easily due to high or low temperatures.
