The difference between Kudingcha and chrysanthemum

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of Kudingcha are thick leathery, spirally alternate, 8 to 25 cm long, 4.5 to 8.5 cm wide, with sparsely sharp teeth on the edges and no pubescence on both sides. The leaves are ovate-oblong, not wrinkled, yellow-green or gray-green above, shiny on the surface, and yellow-green underneath.

The leaves of chrysanthemum are alternate, with short petioles. The leaf blades are ovate, lanceolate or oblong, 5 to 15 cm long, pinnately lobed or half-cleft, with a cuneate base and coarsely serrated or deeply fissured edges.

2. Flower Differences

The flowers of Kudingcha are dioecious, or unisexual and bisexual flowers coexist, and the flowers are white or yellow.

The chrysanthemum inflorescence head is solitary or grows in clusters at the top of the stems and branches, with a diameter of 2.5 to 20 cm and varying sizes. The ligulate flowers are yellow, white, purple or yellow, and the flowers are in various colors such as yellow, red, white, purple, orange, pink, dark red, etc.
