What to do if Desert Rose does not bloom

What to do if Desert Rose does not bloom

Insufficient tree age

The most direct point is that your desert rose has not fully grown yet, so it will not bloom naturally, which is the so-called tree age has not yet arrived.

Inadequate maintenance

If the desert rose already has buds but still does not bloom for a long time, you should find out the reasons for its maintenance, including fertilizer, temperature, light, watering, etc.

1. Fertilizer: You can use a lighter fertilizer water every time you water the desert rose. If the flower buds have shown color, you can stop watering with fertilizer water and switch to watering with clean water. This will ensure that the flowers will not fall off.

2. Temperature: The best growth temperature for Desert Rose is between 15 and 25 degrees. Check whether the temperature of your cultivation is within this range. Especially in winter, be sure to move it to a well-lit location indoors. Desert rose is very afraid of cold, so the indoor temperature should be kept above 10 degrees Celsius.

3. Light: Generally, it is difficult for the plant to bloom without sufficient sunlight, so it should be moved to a place where the sun can reach it. Even in the scorching summer, there is no need to provide any shade, and it can be exposed to the sun.

4. Watering: Although it is called Desert Rose, it is not particularly drought-resistant. The soil can be kept slightly moist on a daily basis, and water should not accumulate when watering.

If you want the Desert Rose to bloom successfully and produce beautiful flowers, in addition to not growing fully, daily maintenance is also a major focus.
