What to do if the leaves of the money tree turn black

What to do if the leaves of the money tree turn black

1. Proper watering

Reason: Although the money tree is a drought-resistant plant and does not require excessive watering, it still needs to be watered reasonably. If watering is not reasonable, the leaves will turn black.

Solution: During the growing period of the money tree, water it once or twice a week. During the dormant period, water it two or three times a month. Before watering, you should first observe the condition of the soil in the pot. You can only water it after the soil in the pot is completely dry. When watering, do not water too much and make sure there is no water accumulation in the potting soil. Water accumulation will affect the root breathing and cause health problems for the plant.

2. Adjust the temperature

Reason: It is more resistant to high temperatures and suitable for high temperature growth. A temperature of 20 degrees is more suitable for its growth. If the temperature is too low, the leaves will turn black.

Solution: Appropriately adjust the temperature of the growth environment of the money tree. It should be above 20 degrees, not too high.

3. Appropriate lighting

Reason: Money tree likes sunshine, and insufficient sunlight will cause the leaves to turn black.

Solution: Give the money tree eight hours of light every day. Even in winter, place it in a sunny place to receive sunlight all day long.

4. Solve pests

1. Reason: If the money tree is infected with pests, the leaves will turn black.

2. Solution: First find out where the plant is infected by pests. If the branches and leaves are infected by pests, spray them with insecticide. If the soil is infected, disinfect the plant and change the soil.
