How to make a pagoda-shaped bonsai of lucky bamboo

Choose Lucky Bamboo

Lucky bamboo grows healthily, has strong vitality and reproductive capacity.

A large amount of new bamboo is used, and many stems of different lengths are cut to form the pagoda. The upper end of each stem must have a bamboo shoot, and the buds must be retained so that buds and branches can grow at the top of each layer of the pagoda, forming a new living pagoda.

Number of stems of a four-layer lucky bamboo pagoda

The first layer has 36 stems, each with 3 nodes and 7 cm long; the second layer has 23 stems, each with 4 nodes and 10 cm long; the third layer has 18 stems, each with 5 nodes and 13 cm long; the fourth layer has 11 stems, each with 6 nodes and 16 cm long.

Combination method of lucky bamboo

The stem nodes used to make the pagoda should be assembled immediately. When assembling, first take a 1 cm long stem and a 2.5 cm diameter plastic cylinder as the center of the pagoda. Then place 11 16 cm long stems with their lower ends on the same plane in a circle along the outer periphery of the plastic cylinder and tie them tightly with plastic wire to form the fourth layer of the pagoda. Then take 18 more stems, each 13 cm long, and arrange them on the same plane along the outer periphery of the fourth layer of the pagoda to form the third layer of the pagoda.

Then follow the same method and steps to combine the second and first layers in sequence to form a complete pagoda shape.

Pagoda-shaped lucky bamboo embellishment

Use gold paper to stick on the outside of the binding wire, or use gold paper to wrap the iron wire into a gold bar and surround the lucky bamboo.

Another stone-carved multi-layered pagoda can also be decorated on the top of the pagoda to form a pagoda on top of another pagoda, making it unique and spectacular.
