How to hydroponically grow grape hyacinth

How to hydroponically grow grape hyacinth

1. Operations before hydroponics

We can find a glass bottle and add some clean water into it, but pay attention to the position of the water, and make sure it does not soak to the bottom. Then we can choose some good grape hyacinths and put them five centimeters away from the mouth of the cup, immerse them in the water, and then put them in a sunny place. When its buds grow five centimeters, put them in a darker place.

2. Temperature

Generally, hydroponic plants are more suitable for temperatures within the range of above 5 degrees and below 30 degrees. In other words, as long as the temperature makes people feel comfortable, they will also be comfortable and they can grow normally. Therefore, temperature is also very important to them. The temperature must not be too low or too high.

3. Lighting

Before its bulbs sprout, remember not to expose them to sunlight. After they sprout, place them in a place with brighter light, good air circulation and sunlight, so that they can grow better. At the beginning, you can expose it to sunlight for one or two hours a day, and then slowly increase it to seven or eight hours. If the weather changes are not too big, it should bloom in spring. So lighting is very important.

4. Change the water

Generally, we will add a little nutrient solution when growing it in water, so under normal circumstances, the water can be changed about every five to ten days in spring and autumn, and about every five days in summer, but in winter, the water can be changed every ten to fifteen days. The main purpose of changing water is to ensure that there is enough oxygen in the bottle. Fresh water contains more oxygen, which can make the plants healthier. If the water is not changed for a long time, they can survive for a while, but if the time is too long, the plants will not be able to bear it, and in severe cases, it will easily die. So be sure to remember to change the water.
