Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic gardenia

Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic gardenia

1. Change water in time

It is very important to change the water in time during hydroponics. If you don't change the water for a long time, the water in the container will become dirty and affect the root breathing. The water can be changed every 3-5 days, and it should be replaced in time if impurities are found in the water. If the breeding environment is dry, you should always spray water to increase the humidity.

2. Clean the roots

Because of the addition of nutrient solution, there will be moss attached to the roots of the plant, which should be cleaned every time the water is changed, otherwise the roots of the plant will easily breed bacteria. In addition, the inner wall of the hydroponic container must be cleaned to avoid dirt.

3. Suitable temperature

When hydroponically cultivating, the temperature must be controlled within a range suitable for its growth. It grows faster in warm places, so the temperature should be controlled at around 18°C during maintenance. The temperature will continue to drop in winter, so please keep warm and maintain the temperature at around 10℃.

IV. Precautions

During the hydroponic culture of gardenia, pay attention to the water quality. It is best to use rainwater or snow water. If you use tap water, leave it for a day or two before using it.
