Chrysanthemum tastes bitter and is neutral in nature. In traditional Chinese medicine, it can clear the liver and improve eyesight. In Mongolian medicine, it is neutral, dull and soft, and can clear away heat, detoxify, dry pus and reduce swelling.

The ornamental value of aster

There are many varieties of aster, and different varieties have different uses.

The dwarf varieties are suitable for potted viewing, and the different flower colors are colorful and eye-catching. Can also be used for edging flower beds.

Medium and tall varieties are suitable for all types of garden arrangements. The tall type can be used as "background flowers", as indoor flowers, or as cut flower materials.

To make cut flowers, cut the aster when its outer florets begin to open, store them in water, and keep the temperature at 0℃-4℃. They can be kept for 1-2 weeks.
