Application of aspirin in potted plants

Application of aspirin in potted plants

Aspirin can improve the survival rate of seedlings

Soaking bare-root seedlings and saplings in 0.5% aspirin solution can increase their survival rate. When transplanting seedlings and tree stump bonsai, use 0.03% to 0.05% aspirin solution as rooting water and then manage them normally. The survival rate can reach 97%. When taking flower cuttings, use this solution to water or spray the leaves to prevent the cuttings from rotting, thereby increasing the survival rate of the cuttings.

Aspirin can promote the growth of flowers

Because the hydrolysis products of aspirin can hinder the plant's alienation and decomposition process, the accumulation of assimilation products increases. Therefore, during the growth process of flowers, regular watering with 0.3% to 0.5% aspirin solution can make the flowers grow strong, with bright flowers and large fruits. Through comparative observations on roses, pomegranates, carnations, etc., it was found that the flower and fruit yields could be increased by 10% to 20% after application.

Aspirin can be used as a drought-resistant agent for seedlings

Spraying flowers with 0.5% aspirin solution can significantly reduce their water evaporation and improve the drought resistance of seedlings. Therefore, this method is very effective when you are out for something or when your child is left unattended for a few days. In addition, during drought, watering or leaf spraying with 0.5% to 1% aspirin solution can reduce the drop of flowers and fruits caused by drought.

Aspirin can preserve flowering and fruiting and increase seed germination rates

From the time when flower buds grow to the time when fruits swell, spraying the leaves with 0.01% aspirin solution can reduce flower and bud drop and prolong the flowering period.

Soak the seeds in 0.05% (1 tablet dissolved in 500 grams of water) aspirin solution, and keep the seeds covered for 2 to 3 hours. After sowing, the seedlings will emerge quickly, evenly, and strong, and the drought and disease resistance of the seedlings can be improved.
