When does peach blossom bloom?

1. Flowering period

The flowering period of peach blossoms varies according to different regions. In Guangzhou, the flowers bloom around February; in Nanjing, they bloom in March; and in Beijing, due to the slightly lower temperature, they bloom in April. However, in the plains, they usually bloom in March.

2. Features

Peach blossom is a deciduous tree. The branches are reddish brown or brown-green in color, and its leaves are elliptical-lanceolate with fine serrations on the edges. It usually blooms solitarily, with colors including white, pink and red, and is double or semi-double.

3. Habits

Peaches require good ventilation during their growing period, are drought-resistant, and are afraid of waterlogging. If the plant is waterlogged for 3 to 5 days, it may cause leaf fall and even death. It is also relatively drought-resistant and can safely survive the winter even in the cold north.
