How to choose delicious pomegranate? Learn to look at these "3 places" to see if the fruit has thin skin and rich flesh

Although pomegranates have a lot of seeds, I didn’t see anyone buying less pomegranates, which shows how popular this pomegranate is! But then again, if you like to eat pomegranates, the first thing you need to do is to eat delicious pomegranates. So how do you choose delicious pomegranates?

When Huahua bought pomegranates a few days ago, the old lady selling pomegranates told me a few tips. Today I will tell you how to pick delicious pomegranates!

1. Color

The old lady said that if you want to buy delicious pomegranates, the first thing you need to do is to look. Look at the color of the pomegranate skin. Generally speaking, don't choose pomegranates that are yellow or green. Such pomegranates are usually not ripe and taste a bit sour. Choose the pomegranate that is yellowish to reddish, as it tastes sweeter. It is best not to choose pomegranates that are too red. According to the old lady, pomegranates that are too red, unless they are of this variety, are likely to have a bland taste and many seeds.

2. Appearance

In addition to looking at the color of the pomegranate, the appearance is also a critical step. Why do I say so? Because we can't taste the seeds inside the pomegranate, we can only look at the appearance outside, haha. When choosing, do not choose round pomegranates, as they are more likely to have thick skins. It is best to choose slightly square pomegranates, as they have thin skins and large grains and taste better. When choosing at random, it is best not to blindly think that round pomegranates are the best!

3. Look at the flower pedicles

After looking at the color and shape, we can pick it up and take a look at the pomegranate's pedicel. There are many things that can be seen from the flower bud, so don't underestimate it. If the pedicel at the bottom of the pomegranate has grown more open or is similar in shape to a flower, it means the pomegranate is ripe. On the contrary, if the pomegranate pedicel grows deformed or does not bloom, it means that the pomegranate may not be mature enough, and the taste of such pomegranate may not be very good.

Have you all learned it? Huahua followed the old lady’s instructions and bought a few pomegranates, they tasted really good! I hope you can apply these three tips today to the pomegranates you buy in the future! Pomegranates are delicious but not easy to peel, and there are still a lot of seeds inside! But it doesn’t matter, nothing can stop our love for food! It is precisely because it is difficult to peel that the pomegranate is so sweet!
