1. When do lychees mature?

There are many types of lychees, and different types of lychees mature at different times. For example, Sanyuehong is an early-maturing variety, which usually matures in late March of the lunar calendar; Yuanzhi matures in late May or early June; Feizishao matures in early June; Heiye and Bailash mature in mid-June; Gualü matures from late June to early July; Guiwei and Niumici mature in early July; Yuanzhu and Lanzhu mature in mid-July; Chenzi matures in late July.

2. When will lychees be available?

There are many varieties of litchi, and their maturity times and market launch times are also inconsistent. It is usually available between May and July, and the quality of lychees purchased during this period is the best.

The time when litchi comes on the market is not only related to the variety, but also to the time and region of planting. Lychees prefer to grow in warm and dry environments. If grown under normal conditions, they will mature around June to July.

3. Precautions for eating lychees

Before eating lychees, you need to fully soak and clean the preservatives and residual pesticides on the surface of lychees;

Do not eat lychees on an empty stomach, and the daily intake should not exceed 300 grams;

People who are allergic to lychees or have diabetes should not eat them.

If eating lychees causes symptoms of getting a sore throat, you can drink some mung bean soup or green tea in moderation.
