Likes warmth

The most suitable growth temperature is between 20-30℃. It is not cold-resistant. Try to maintain the light temperature. The breeding temperature in winter should not be lower than 5℃.

Well-ventilated soil

The requirements for soil are not strict, but it is still better to use loose, fertile, neutral culture soil containing a lot of humus and strong permeability for potting, and the soil should be changed once a year. Afraid of moisture

Reproduction method

Sweet olive is usually propagated by sowing and cuttings. The fruits are sown after they are ripe and picked, and they will germinate and emerge from the soil after one month of cultivation. Cuttings can be carried out in spring and autumn. Choose one- or two-year-old branches with tail tips, generally 20 to 30 cm in length, insert them into the seedbed, keep the soil moist, and they will take root after two months.
