Gyokuro Varieties

Gyokuro Varieties

Large Window Jade Dew

It is a hybrid variety of Jade Dew: the window is relatively large, about the size of a one-dollar coin. Because the window surface is larger, the plants will be more scattered. In the case of insufficient light, the extent of growth is smaller. The window surface with top fur is quite beautiful.

Cicada Jade Dew

It is named because its window is small and as thin as a cicada's wing. The lines are crisp and clean, and they are easier to grow in groups. The degree of elongation is small.

Ji Yulu

There are large species and small species. Because this type of plant usually buries most of its body under the soil in its native place, with only the part with windows exposed on the ground, thus avoiding the dry and hot growing environment in summer.

There are dark linear veins. In conditions of sufficient sunlight, the veins are brown, and there are tiny "whiskers" on the top of the leaves.

Round-headed Gyokuro

It grows slowly and requires some patience to grow. Excessive watering or severe lack of water will affect growth. Keep it in a bright place without direct sunlight. If the light is too strong, the leaves will turn gray.

Green Jade Dew

Green jade dew is divided into large and small types, and the difference mainly depends on the size of the leaf head.

Grass Gyokuro

They are small and cute. They won't grow very big, but they can easily form groups. Although it is not a rare species, its charm cannot be underestimated. The degree of elongation is small.

Gyokuro

A hybrid of Gyokuro and Shou. The windows are always triangular.

Apart from the window, its overall shape is similar to that of aloe vera. Looking down from above, you can see a circle made up of many triangles, just like the longevity pattern, so it has been called "Shou" since then.

Ice Lantern Jade Dew

Ice Lantern Jade is the preferred variety selected after hybridizing the good jade. The window surface is larger than that of ordinary jade, the texture is clearer and simpler, and there is no top hair around the large window surface. The plant shape is larger than ordinary jade and smaller than Emperor Jade.

It is one of the finest products among the soft-leaf Haworthia varieties, the purple-skinned Jade Dew. It is named because its fleshy leaves are crystal clear and as transparent as ice lanterns.

Purple Skin Jade Dew

The so-called purple-skinned jade is a general term for a series of jade plants with compact and flat plant shapes, round heads, bright windows, and which easily turn purple under the same light, including some horticultural varieties selected from purple-skinned jade hybrids. The degree of elongation is small.

Of course, there are many original varieties of jade plants, and the ones listed above are the ones that flower lovers can often see.
