How to distinguish Huang Li and Ming Yue

Difference 1: Look at the thickness

The leaves of Mingyue are relatively slender, while the leaves of Huangli are relatively short, round and thick. Of course, this is under normal circumstances. If the Huangli plant grows too tall, the leaves will also be narrower and longer.

Difference 2: Look at the color

Mingyue's color is more golden, and it will have different appearances. In a sunny environment, the edges of the leaves or the whole plant are golden to orange-yellow. In a strong sunlight environment, the whole plant is orange-yellow or orange-red. In an insufficient light environment, the leaves are green and the distance between the leaves is elongated.

The color of Huangli is green-yellow. When there is sufficient sunlight, the leaves will appear jelly-colored. When there is insufficient sunlight, the leaves will turn light green and grow too long.

Difference 3: Look at the leaf tip

The edges of the Mingyue leaves have slight red edges, and the tips of the Huangli leaves have slight red hues.
