Matters Needing Attention When Reiger Begonia Blooms

If you want the Begonia to bloom better, you must pay attention to many details during the flowering period.

It is best not to apply fertilizer during the flowering period of Begonia, and do not move the flower pot casually, otherwise the flower buds will fall off. Watering should be done in moderation, not too much water, so as to avoid water accumulation in the flowerpot and poor soil drainage. When watering, the water temperature needs to be close to room temperature. The suitable temperature for the growth of Reieger Begonia is 15℃~22℃, and the temperature during flowering should be kept between 15℃~17℃; after May, when the temperature gradually rises, Reieger Begonia will enter a semi-dormant state, and watering should be reduced and fertilization should be stopped.

In winter, Begonia will still bloom, so maintain a suitable temperature. When caring for Begonia indoors, it needs to be placed in a sunny place indoors. A south-facing windowsill is a good choice. In summer, the sunlight is strong, so the Begonia needs a little shade so that it can grow well. However, if it is shaded too much, the plant will grow too tall and affect flowering.

In addition, after the Begonia blooms, the dead branches and flowers need to be cut off.
