Taoyuan Township's breeding methods

Light and temperature

Taoyuanxiang likes a sunny and warm growing environment, tolerates partial shade and is not cold-resistant. During daily maintenance, Taoyuan Township needs to get sufficient light. In the summer when the temperature is high and the sun is strong, it needs to be shaded and kept ventilated to avoid exposure. In other seasons, Taoyuan Township must get sufficient light. The first one can be placed in a sunny place indoors. Please note that insufficient light will cause the plants to grow too tall, become shapeless, and loose.

soil

For potted Taoyuanxiang, you need to choose sandy soil with good drainage, looseness, and fertility. It can be made by mixing leaf mold, garden soil, coarse sand or frog stones in a certain proportion. You can add some wood ash into the soil as base fertilizer.

Watering and fertilizing

Taoyuan Township follows the principle of "don't water unless the soil is dry, and water thoroughly when you do." The soil in the pot needs to be kept slightly moist, but not too moist. Watering should be more frequent during the growing season, 2 to 3 times a week. In rainy and hot seasons, water less and avoid rain to prevent water accumulation and root rot. When watering, try not to water the leaves and flower cores.

When applying fertilizer, except for applying base fertilizer when transplanting and planting, there is no need to apply fertilizer frequently afterwards. Just apply well-rotted thin fertilizer water or compound fertilizer once a month. In winter, if the indoor temperature can be kept above 10℃, you can water and fertilize.

Reproduction method

The propagation method in Taoyuan Township is cuttings, which can be carried out throughout the year.
