How to grow money tree

Farming methods

soil

The basic requirement for soil is good permeability. The cultivation medium is mostly made of peat, coarse sand or washed coal slag mixed with a small amount of garden soil, and its pH value is adjusted to between 6 and 6.5, which is slightly acidic. Decide whether to change the potting soil based on the growing season and growth conditions.

Moisture

The money tree is relatively drought-resistant, but the most suitable growing environment should not be too humid or too dry, just dry is fine. The amount of watering should be chosen according to the different seasons. Water once a week in spring, once every 3 days in summer, and once every half a month in winter. You can use water spraying, especially in winter. Don't water it too much, as this will be detrimental to its growth.

temperature

The most suitable temperature for the growth of money tree is 25-32℃. When the temperature exceeds 35℃ in summer, use black net to shade or spray water to cool down. The temperature should be maintained above 10℃ in winter, and it is best to grow it in a greenhouse.

illumination

Money tree likes light and tolerates shade. You need to create an environment with good lighting conditions but avoid direct sunlight. Especially at noon in summer, avoid direct sunlight to avoid burns.

nutrient

Fertilize once a month during the growing season and do not fertilize in winter.

Preventing pests and diseases

Pay attention to preventive bacterial disinfection to prevent and control bulb rot, brown spot disease, etc. You can use 1500 times diluted thiophanate methyl suspension and 1000 times diluted Lemildo alternately. The leaves are easily damaged by scale insects, which can be eliminated by spraying 1000 times diluted 20% cypermethrin wettable powder.

Editor's message: Many friends often become overly concerned during the breeding process, worrying about insufficient water and nutrients, etc., which leads to excessive water and excessive fertilizer. These are not conducive to its growth, so everyone should pay special attention.
