Tillandsia must grow in an environment above 16℃, regardless of spring, summer, autumn or winter. In winter, it can be moved to a greenhouse or indoors, but the minimum temperature at night cannot be lower than 10℃.

Moisture

Tillandsia requires a lot of water during its growing period, so keep it well hydrated. In the hot summer, keep watering twice a day. Just keep the soil moist in winter.

top dressing

Fertilize once a month with half-concentration standard liquid fertilizer. Please note that some varieties of Tillandsia do not require fertilizer.

Reproduction method

The plant is generally propagated by the basal budding method. When the basal buds grow to 8 cm long, they are removed and planted.

Placement

Tillandsia prefers a bright, semi-shaded, warm and humid environment. It needs to be placed in a place with bright light and not in direct sunlight.

Precautions


The temperature in winter cannot be too low, and you should pay attention to temperature changes.

Avoid direct sunlight in summer, but do not place it in a dark corner, and pay attention to preventing diseases and pests.
