The Venus flytrap blooms in summer. Strictly speaking, it will bloom soon after new leaves grow in spring and will continue to bloom until midsummer.

When the Venus flytrap blooms, many flower buds usually grow on the flower stems, and one flower blooms every other day. If the flower is not pollinated, it can remain open for several days, but once it is successfully pollinated, the flower will wither the next day.
