How to grow Campanula

How to grow Campanula

Transplant or tillage

There are two ways to propagate Campanula, cutting propagation and seed propagation, but you must pay attention to its transplantation after cutting or sowing. Before propagation, it is appropriate to choose a small pot and then transplant it into a suitable pot according to the growth size of the plant. This will allow the campanula to grow well. At the same time, the soil in the flower pot should be turned over once in spring or autumn every year to make the soil fluffy. While turning the soil, you can choose to add some organic fertilizer and mix it evenly.

fertilizer

Because campanula grows very fast and blooms frequently, it needs sufficient fertilizer during the growing period. Fertilize about three times a month. But in the hot summer, no fertilizer is needed. Before applying fertilizer, observe whether the soil is dry and loose. Be sure to apply fertilizer when the soil is dry and loose. After fertilizing, you must water the stems and leaves once with a watering can. Avoid fertilizer contamination on the stems and leaves of campanula, which may cause them to rot and die.

temperature

The temperature of the campanula is between 10 and 28 degrees. If it is hot in summer, be prepared to cool it down in time, and the temperature should not exceed 28 degrees. In autumn and winter, if the temperature is below 6 degrees, the campanula will be frostbitten. It is best to place it in a sunny place in winter. But whether it is summer or winter, ventilation is necessary.

As indoor potted plants, the combination of campanula and other plants will create unexpected beauty.
