Difference Between Evening Primrose and Cranberry

1. The difference between leaves

The basal leaves of evening primrose are mostly oblanceolate, slightly pointed in front, and with some sparse shallow blunt teeth on the edges. The stem leaves are mostly elliptical or oblanceolate, with some soft and long hairs on both sides. The leaves of cranberry are scattered, leathery, oblong or long ovate, and hairless.

2. Differences in Fruits

The fruit of evening primrose is a capsule, which is conical-cylindrical in shape and green in color; the fruit of cranberry is a berry, which is spherical in shape and purple-red in color.
