Can the exclusive spring and winter bloom?

Exclusive spring flowering season

"Double Swallows Welcome the Spring" is used to describe the monopoly of spring. From these two names, we can know that the flowering period of this sutra is spring, starting from February. If properly maintained, it can last for more than a month. When the flowers are in full bloom, they look like two swallows about to take off. In Guangzhou, people simply call Duzhanchun "Double Flying Swallows". Its flowers are white, sometimes slightly pink, very elegant and accompanied by a faint fragrance. The whole plant has a graceful posture, is pure and noble, and is a top-quality ornamental plant.

Can it bloom in winter?

It can bloom in winter. If it blooms in winter, and we appreciate its subtle fragrance, wouldn’t it feel that winter is not so cold? Its original flowering period starts in spring. If you want it to bloom early in winter, you need to artificially create some conditions suitable for its flowering.

Factors that affect winter flowering

Low temperature: Low temperature can allow it to enter the vernalization stage ahead of time. Just control the temperature above 5 degrees for about 20 days, and then return to normal room temperature so that it can bloom in winter. A friend of mine put the plant in a constant temperature box at about 7 degrees about 20 days in advance in order to make it bloom in winter, and it bloomed successfully in winter.

Humidity: This is also very important. Whether it is the vernalization stage or the flowering stage, a certain humidity must be maintained.

Temperature: When flowering, the temperature should be controlled above 15 degrees, but not more than 30 degrees (the temperature indoors is generally not that high in winter).
