How to care for the fortune tree in daily life and what are the precautions

1. Plenty of sunlight

The growth of the money tree cannot be separated from sunlight. It cannot be kept in a shady environment for a long time. If it is not exposed to sunlight, it will cause growth problems. During daily maintenance, you can keep it in a sunny place to ensure the sunlight needs, and make sure the leaves are facing the sun.

2. Watering in moderation

The money tree is adaptable to water, and the amount of watering should be adjusted according to seasonal changes. During the period of vigorous growth, you can water it in time to keep the soil moist. The temperature is high in summer and the evaporation rate is fast, so you need to increase the amount of watering and water more. The temperature is relatively low in winter, the growth is slow and the water requirement is low, so watering should be reduced appropriately.

3. Reasonable fertilization

It needs fertilizer, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer in time to ensure a good supply of nutrients. Applying enough base fertilizer before planting in pots can make the soil more fertile. Top dressing is also necessary in the later growth stage. During the rapid growth period from May to September, decomposed liquid fertilizer can be applied every 15 days. This can provide nutrients and promote luxuriant branches and leaves.

4. Maintain temperature

It likes a warm growing environment, and the suitable temperature for its growth can be maintained at around 18-30℃. It cannot withstand the cold in winter and the temperature needs to be raised above 5℃.

5. Notes

Be careful not to keep it too stuffy indoors. You can open the windows to let in some air. Air circulation can promote growth and prevent the occurrence of diseases and pests.
