Although it likes sunlight, it can also tolerate shade and prefers warmer areas without snow and fog. It is not very resistant to drought and is afraid of waterlogging and cold weather. If you want to grow it in soil, it is best to use slightly acidic sandy soil with adequate drainage and ventilation.

4. Difference in efficacy

1. The roots, leaves and fruits of the former can be used as medicine to eliminate swelling, treat injuries, snake bites, etc. Its trees are yellow in color, with very clear growth rings, and are relatively thick, so they can be used as building materials.

2. The skin of the latter can be used as medicine, which can strengthen the stomach, relieve pain, dispel cold and remove blood stasis, etc. It also contains an oily substance that emits a fragrance that can be used to clean the air.
