How to grow perfume orchid

How to grow perfume orchid

1. Soil

To grow perfume orchids, you need to use loose, slightly acidic soil. Using soil with good drainage is beneficial to the growth of the plant's roots.

2. Watering

You can water it more often during its growth period. You can water it every day in sunny weather, and avoid watering during the hot noon. When watering, do not water into the flower buds. The amount of watering should be controlled in autumn, and you can switch to spraying water as long as the soil is moist. The temperature is relatively low in winter, so you should water less and just keep the soil slightly moist.

3. Lighting

Perfume orchid can receive sufficient light in spring, which can promote its better growth. Avoid direct sunlight in the summer and it is best to grow it in a semi-shaded place.

4. Fertilization

If the perfume orchid grows well, you can apply fertilizer. If it grows weakly, you can reduce or stop fertilizing. Never apply chemical fertilizers to it, and it is best not to apply fertilizers in hot weather.
