The difference between red plum and winter plum

2. Difference in color

The color of wintersweet is yellow, and its flowering period is earlier than the former, from November to March of the following year.

3. Fruit Difference

The fruit of the red plum is a drupe that is nearly spherical and has suture lines. It is yellow or green in color and has soft hairs on the surface. The flesh and the core are not easy to separate. It matures in June and July every year. The fruit of the wintersweet is achene, which is obovate-oval in shape. It is green in color at first and turns gray-brown when mature. The fruiting period is July-August.
