Gardenia's flowering period and why it doesn't bloom

1. When is the flowering period?

It usually blooms from May to August. The flowers are pure white and fragrant. Its flowering period is relatively long. As long as all factors are guaranteed to be good, it can bloom for as long as one month. However, there may be cases of early or delayed release, and each region may be slightly different due to climate and geographical differences. Be careful not to water the flower buds during flowering, as this will easily cause them to rot. Fertilization is also not allowed, as it will cause the flower buds to fall off. Moving it to a cool place when it blooms can extend the flowering period by 2-3 days.

Why can't the flowers bloom?

1. Too much water and fertilizer: Too much water and nutrients supplied during the growth period will lead to this phenomenon. Therefore, when applying it, you must pay attention to the amount and not apply it arbitrarily.

2. The light is too weak: Although it does not like strong light, if the light is too weak, it will affect its flowering. Astigmatism should be supplemented appropriately.
