1. Selection of potting soil

For beginners, choose the type of flower pot according to their needs. Ceramic basins are more breathable and drain water, plastic basins save space, and porcelain basins retain water but are not breathable. When choosing loam, it is generally sufficient to mix peat soil and particles in a ratio of 1:2. The material of the flower pot also needs to be considered.

2. Proper watering

When you first start planting, don't water too much. Generally, water once every 7-15 days, avoiding noon. Choose to water in a small amount along the edge of the pot in the evening. After the plants begin to adapt to the environment, start to water them normally. Water less in summer and switch to spraying water. In winter, water demand is low and evaporation is slower, so more attention should be paid. In spring and autumn, you can increase the intake moderately to replenish water.

3. Lighting environment

After the initial planting, provide a semi-sunny growing environment and do not expose it to too much light. After about a month, you can gradually increase the lighting time and intensity, and finally turn it into full sunlight, which can effectively prevent excessive growth. It should not be exposed to the scorching sun in summer and can be placed indoors.

4. Pay attention to ventilation

Ventilation conditions are also very important for growth. You can place it near a window and ventilate it frequently to promote air circulation.
