How to raise Xiaoyu

How to raise Xiaoyu

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: The requirements of Xiaoyu for soil are mainly reflected in air permeability and drainage. Generally speaking, if these two requirements are met, the growth of Xiaoyu will be more vigorous.

2. Temperature: Xiaoyu likes warmth, and a too hot environment is not suitable for it. Generally speaking, around 20 degrees is better. When it is too hot in summer, it is best to increase ventilation or take other cooling measures.

3. Light: Xiaoyu has high requirements for light, and its growth cannot be separated from the help of light. Generally speaking, full sunlight can be provided in spring, autumn and winter, and good light will make its color more beautiful. The light in summer is too strong. In order to ensure its safety, it is better to put it in a cool place.

4. Water: More water is needed in spring and autumn, so the supply must be sufficient. Water sparingly in summer and avoid getting wet by rain. In winter, if the temperature is below five degrees, you don't need to water the plants.

2. Reproduction method

The main method of propagation of Xiaoyu is cuttings. After cutting its branches, place them in a ventilated place to dry for a while. Wait until it is dry before taking cuttings. The substrate should be loose and breathable. After cuttings, humidity must be maintained and the plant must be placed in a cool place. Maintenance can be resumed after the plant has adapted.

3. Pay attention to pruning

Because the growth of the jade plant may be very vigorous and soon fill the entire pot, pruning is also a very important task.
