Indoor cultivation methods and precautions for cockscomb

Indoor cultivation methods and precautions for cockscomb

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: It grows better in loose, fertile, well-drained soil. You can also use leaf mold and other materials to prepare soil suitable for the plant according to the proportion.

2. Temperature: The best temperature for growing cockscomb is between 18-28 degrees. The growth and development of the plant will slow down in winter, and too low temperature will cause frostbite and other problems.

3. Watering: The plant is not drought-tolerant and needs more watering, but do not water it excessively, as this will cause water accumulation in the pot and lead to root rot of the plant.

4. Light: Generally, it grows better in an environment with sufficient light. The light is too strong in summer, so the plants should be given appropriate shade. In winter, the plants should be placed in a location with sufficient light so that they can receive sufficient light.

5. Fertilization: Apply sufficient base fertilizer before planting. Normal fertilization should be applied once every ten days or so.

2. Precautions

The pot should be changed every one to two years, preferably during the flowering period.
