Differences between plants and animals

1. Different forms

Plants are generally composed of roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits. The simplest plant has only one cell. Animals have a head, neck, limbs, torso and tail, and are higher animals.

2. Different reproduction

Generally, plant reproduction mainly relies on methods such as seeds, spores and vegetative reproduction. Animals reproduce through reproduction, ovoviviparity, viviparity and lactation.

3. Different metabolism

Plant cells all contain chloroplasts, which can carry out photosynthesis, and photosynthesis is the simplest basic metabolism. Animals do not have chloroplasts in their bodies and cannot carry out photosynthesis. They can only obtain nutrients from the outside world and metabolize them.

4. Different ways of discharging waste

Plants have waste in their bodies. Many people may not know that it is mostly excreted through dry branches and fallen leaves. Animals are different. They excrete waste from their bodies through their own excretion.
